Seattle, WA. The city passed a business tax on top earners to help close budget deficits from COVID-19 and ensure ongoing funding for efforts to create more affordable housing in the city.

Philadelphia, PA. In response to COVID-19, the city passed legislation to protect essential workers from retaliation for reporting unsafe working conditions or refusing to work in environments that put their health at risk.
A New Equitable Business Model for the Restaurant Industry
