Implementing Zero-Fare Transit
Spokane, WA. The city expanded eligibility for zero fare to increase transit access and use for low-income residents and those with disabilities.
JumpStart the Local Economy
Seattle, WA. The city passed a business tax on top earners to help close budget deficits from COVID-19 and ensure ongoing funding for efforts to create more affordable housing in the city.
Democracy Vouchers
Seattle, WA. The city funded a democracy voucher program for ten years, where voters and some eligible non-registered voters, can contribute vouchers to help fund their preferred candidates’ campaigns if those individuals are participating in the program.
